TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Access to Property

Clients must provide safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled appointment time. If cleaners are unable to enter the property, a cancellation or lockout fee may apply.

2. Payment

Payment is due before completion of service. Discounted weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly pricing is only available for recurring cleanings. If you book a recurring service but only use the cleaning once, cancel early, or do not continue at the selected frequency, the discount will be removed and the remaining difference will be charged to the card used for booking.

Quotes provided through our website or calculator are estimates and may vary depending on the actual condition, size, or complexity of the home.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service.

4. Condition of Home

To ensure the best cleaning results, clients are asked to tidy excessive clutter prior to a standard clean. Homes requiring excessive cleaning beyond the booked scope may incur additional charges.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with any area cleaned, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment. We will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue.

6. Safety & Hazardous Conditions

Our cleaners reserve the right to refuse or stop service in unsafe conditions, including but not limited to:

  • – Aggressive pets
  • – Biohazards
  • – Mold infestations
  • – Pest infestations
  • – Unsafe structural conditions
  • – Illegal substances or activities

7. Pets

We love pets, but clients are responsible for securing aggressive or anxious animals during the cleaning appointment.

8. Damages & Liability

While we take every precaution, accidental damage may occasionally occur. Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

We are not responsible for:

  • – Pre-existing damage
  • – Improperly installed fixtures or items

9. Deep Cleaning & Add-On Services

Deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, and specialty services may require additional time and cost beyond initial estimates.

10. Recurring Service Discounts

Recurring cleaning discounts apply only while services continue on the agreed schedule:

  • Weekly: 15% off
  • Bi-Weekly: 10% off
  • Monthly: 5% off

If recurring services are skipped, paused, or cancelled, pricing may revert to standard rates.

11. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason including unsafe environments, inappropriate behavior, or unreasonable service expectations.

12. Website Estimates

Online pricing calculators are intended for estimate purposes only. Final pricing may be adjusted after inspection of the property or upon arrival.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of cleaning services, refunds are not typically provided once a service has been completed. However, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us.

If you are dissatisfied with your cleaning service, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment. We will review the concern and, when appropriate, offer a touch-up or re-clean of the affected area.

Refunds may be considered in limited circumstances at the sole discretion of Salt and Shore Cleaning LTD., including:

  1. Services that could not be completed due to our error
  2. Billing errors or duplicate charges
  3. Significant issues not resolved through a re-clean

Refunds will not be issued for:

  1. Areas that were inaccessible during the appointment
  2. Pre-existing damage or staining
  3. Dissatisfaction related to clutter or conditions outside the agreed scope of service
  4. Changes in personal preference after the service has been completed
